If you aren’t having any luck getting through to a prospect, client, or other person of importance – I offer a nearly foolproof email approach. Here’s how it goes. In your subject line, type:
“Bob, please give me a quick call. Thank you, JP”
Now, I can’t utilize this tactic often; but, I’ve learned to choose just the right moment in business communications (or, lack thereof) to employ this strategy, and have seen a 100% success rate in response. When you do hear back – simply indicate, “We’ve not been in contact and I’d wanted to pick up where we left off.” The ball is back in your court – make the most of it.
